Hong Kong stocks closed higher, with the Hang Seng Index rising 1.93% and the Hang Seng Tech Index rising 1.06%. Non-ferrous metals, aviation, Chinese securities firms, and biopharmaceuticals were among the strongest performers, while chip stocks opened higher but closed lower. PCB, commercial aerospace, and optical communication stocks were among the biggest losers. MINIMAX-W (00100.HK) closed down 8.97%, hitting a new low since January 27, 2026.
