Three sources told CNN the signing ceremony for a US-Iran memorandum of
understanding is most likely to be held in Geneva. President Trump on Thursday
unveiled a plan aimed at ending hostilities with Iran and said the agreement
would be finalized within days; Vice President Vance is expected to attend the
ceremony. Iranian officials have not confirmed any deal. One source said a
Geneva signing would kick off a "second phase" focused on implementing the MoU;
other sources said the document may be titled the Islamabad Declaration to
recognize Pakistan's mediation role, though Vienna remains an alternative and
arrangements are not final.
