Semafor reported OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has canceled a planned Abu Dhabi visit this weekend; OpenAI is preparing for an IPO. Altman had been due to meet executives from sovereign wealth fund Mubadala, AI group G42 and their JV MGX—an investor in OpenAI—and to hold talks with ADNOC. Sources said heightened tensions around the Iran conflict created uncertainty; the reason for the cancellation remains unclear.
