Russia's special representative for G20 and APEC affairs said on the 13th that Moscow's participation in the US-hosted G20 summit in December is being obstructed after the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Russian Academy of Sciences were added to US sanctions lists, preventing related personnel from entering the United States. Moscow has submitted diplomatic protests and warned it will not recognize a G20 summit or its outcomes held without Russian participation. The summit is scheduled for Dec. 14-15 in Miami.
