Iranian media reported on the 13th that services at multiple banks, including Bank Melli Iran, Export Bank of Iran and Bank Tejarat, experienced technical faults. TASNIM NEWS said customers reported disruptions from earlier in the day to mobile and online banking, ATMs, POS terminals and some card services. Fars News cited unconfirmed reports of a possible cyberattack. Affected banks said IT teams are investigating and have begun repairs; the secretary of the State-owned Banks Coordination Council said necessary remediation measures are under way.
