June 8-12 — China and Indonesia held their 12th satellite network coordination talks in Yogyakarta under the framework of the ITU Radio Regulations. Delegations negotiated more than 100 items across GEO and LEO systems covering satellite communications, meteorological satellites and Beidou short-message services. The sides exchanged views, reached multiple consensuses and signed meeting minutes. China said the talks advance bilateral frequency compatibility and shared use, accelerate China’s international satellite coordination and support domestic aerospace projects. The Chinese delegation included MIIT’s Radio Administration, the National Radio Spectrum Management Center, the National Satellite Meteorological Center and state/commercial satellite operators including China Satellite Network Group and China Satcom; the Indonesian delegation comprised regulators and domestic satellite operators.
