Hong Kong SAR today (June 15) opened public consultation on its first five-year
plan. Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Xie Xiaohua said the
plan is significant, noted legislators, Hong Kong delegates to the NPC and CPPCC
and industry had already submitted suggestions, and said the government will
hold multiple consultation events to solicit wider views.
