On June 15, MOFCOM international trade negotiator and vice minister Li Chenggang
and International Trade Center (ITC) Executive Director Pamela Coke‑Hamilton
renewed a memorandum of understanding to deepen cooperation under the Belt and
Road Initiative and the Global Development Initiative. They agreed to cooperate
on regional economic integration and South‑South cooperation, trade
facilitation, trade and investment promotion, rural trade capacity building,
support for the Export China programme, and green and digital transition
priorities — including promotion of green minerals and other
sustainable-development initiatives.
