Chinese A-shares closed sharply higher: Shanghai Composite +1.61%, Shenzhen
Composite +3.79%, ChiNext +5.3%, Beijing 50 +1.71%, STAR 50 +5.12%. Turnover on
Shanghai and Shenzhen were 3.03 trillion yuan, down 183.8 billion yuan from the
prior session. AI-hardware names led gains; PCB-related stocks climbed and more
than 30 names hit intraday limit-ups, driven by composite-material and
copper-foil suppliers. CPO-themed stocks were also strong—Juguang Technology
posted its second limit-up in three sessions and Accelink Technologies and
others hit limits. Brokers rose, with BOC Securities marking a second
consecutive limit-up and several futures brokers reaching circuit limits. Coal
sector weakened: Dayou Energy fell to a second straight limit-down while
Yankuang Energy, China Shenhua and China Coal Energy retreated.
Livestock/animal-farming names underperformed, with several midcaps down roughly
5–8%.
