At a June 15 briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said China hopes
the United States and Iran will sign the first-phase memorandum of understanding
on schedule, urged all parties to pursue peaceful, dialogue-based solutions, and
said China will continue to act in line with Xi Jinping's four-point proposal to
help restore peace and security in the Gulf.
