Beijing, June 15 — China foreign minister Wang Yi met Nepal foreign minister
Hisil. China praised Nepal’s adherence to the One China principle and its
support on Taiwan and Tibet, and said it will continue to prioritize ties with
Nepal in its neighborhood diplomacy. Beijing pledged ongoing support for
Nepal’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, backing the new
government’s ability to govern with public support and its pursuit of a
development path suited to national conditions.
