National Bureau of Statistics: Electricity production growth of industrial enterprises above designated size accelerated. In May, electricity generation by these enterprises reached 784.3 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%, 1.6 percentage points higher than in April; the average daily generation was 25.3 billion kilowatt-hours. From January to May, electricity generation by these enterprises totaled 3,912.9 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%.
