At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with methanol and propylene falling over 6%, polypropylene and polysilicon falling over 5%, and asphalt, ethylene glycol (EG), PTA, and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) falling over 4%. On the upside, stainless steel (SS) rose over 2%, while silver, gold, container shipping to Europe, and tin rose over 1%, and lead and eggs rose nearly 1%.
