June 16 — China's foreign ministry spokesman Lin Jian on Tuesday rejected an EU claim that the Chinese military trained Russian personnel to fight in Ukraine, saying the allegation had no factual basis and was pure slander. The comment followed EU foreign policy chief kallas's statement yesterday that the EU had verified reports of Chinese military training of Russian forces.
