At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts declined, with polysilicon falling over 7%, methanol and propylene falling over 5%, and ethylene glycol (EG), polypropylene, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), and asphalt falling over 4%. On the upside, stainless steel (SS) rose over 3%, TSR20 rubber rose nearly 3%, rubber rose over 2%, and gold, silver, synthetic rubber, and palm oil rose over 1%, while tin rose nearly 1%.
