On June 16 NDRC Director Zheng Zhaojie chaired a meeting with five
private-sector firms, including Aode Group, Harbin Jiuzhou Group, Shanghai
Hanxun Information Technology and Hebei Baoxin Logistics, to solicit views on
the economic outlook and on systematically advancing construction of the "Six
Networks" and measures to expand domestic effective demand. Participants said
advancing the "Six Networks" is necessary for current and near-term economic and
social needs, will create large demand with strong multiplier effects and broad
spillovers, and offers material opportunities for market expansion, investment
and innovation; firms said they will actively participate to support national
strategic priorities.
