June 16 — In response to a M6.3 earthquake in Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai, the
Office of the National Disaster Reduction and Relief Commission, the Ministry of
Emergency Management and the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration
allocated 10,000 central disaster‑relief items — including tents, folding beds,
bedding, blankets, household emergency kits and emergency lights — and activated
a government‑society coordination mechanism for emergency supplies to support
living relief for affected residents.
