Rising competition and higher supply‑chain costs have pushed Hongmeng Zhixing to
diversify power‑battery sourcing beyond CATL, sources said. AITO (Wenjie), long
single‑sourced to CATL, will add second‑tier suppliers Zhongchuang Xinhang and
Gotion; the AITO M6 has been slated to use Gotion’s 81 kWh battery pack. Sources
said Gotion received an allocation notice from Hongmeng Zhixing last year and
Zhongchuang Xinhang will join AITO’s supplier roster.
