China's industrial value added of enterprises above designated size rose 4.5% YoY in May, accelerating 0.4 percentage point from April; MoM +0.4%. Jan–May industrial value added was up 5.4% YoY. Of 626 monitored products, 300 recorded YoY output gains in May. Key outputs: steel 123.03 mln t (-2.8% YoY); cement 149.91 mln t (-8.1%); ten non-ferrous metals 6.98 mln t (+2.2%); ethylene 3.38 mln t (+2.1%); automobiles 2.582 mln units (-3.2%), including new energy vehicles 1.489 mln (+17.8%); power generation 784.3 bln kWh (+4.2%); crude oil processed 53.72 mln t (-9.1%).
