CSRC said on its website on June 17 it approved four public index funds tracking the CSI REITs Total Return Index, the first index funds in China’s public REITs market. The index comprises 53 components with combined market value of about 171.12 bln yuan as of June 17, 2026, representing 60.9% of REIT listings and 76.6% of sector market cap.
