Axios reports a Netanyahu adviser said Israel does not consider itself bound by
the memorandum’s Lebanon provisions. The adviser said Netanyahu told Trump
Israel will not withdraw forces from southern Lebanon unless Hezbollah disarms.
Trump said “we have some differences on Lebanon” and criticized Israeli tactics,
calling it unacceptable “to blow up an entire apartment building every time you
need to find someone.”
