A-share indices closed mixed: Shanghai Composite -0.43%, Shenzhen Composite +0.94%, ChiNext +2.05% (new high), Beijing 50 -1.18%, STAR 50 +3.84%. Turnover across Shanghai and Shenzhen was CNY 3.31 trillion, up CNY 218.3 billion from the prior session
A-share indices closed mixed: Shanghai Composite -0.43%, Shenzhen Composite +0.94%, ChiNext +2.05% (new high), Beijing 50 -1.18%, STAR 50 +3.84%. Turnover across Shanghai and Shenzhen was CNY 3.31 trillion, up CNY 218.3 billion from the prior session. Sector movers: dental/medical stocks led gains—Aidite, Dongfang Zirconium and Changyu Group hit daily limit-ups. CPO-related names remained active: InnoLight rose over 7%, its market value surpassed Kweichow Moutai; Lianxun Instruments rallied more than 7% and hit record highs. Semiconductors outperformed—Jingsheng and Yutai Micro hit limit-ups, Cambricon jumped ~14%, GigaDevice advanced ~7%, all reaching new highs. Lagging sectors included power, where Shennan Electric A hit limit-down, and large financials, with Xiamen Bank, China Pacific Insurance (CPIC), New China Life Insurance and Ping An falling sharply.
