ANTHROPIC told Commerce Secretary Lutnick in a proposal it will work more closely with the White House and address the security flaws that prompted restrictions on its powerful 'Mythos' and 'Fable' models, the Washington Post reported. Insiders said ANTHROPIC has pledged to improve communications with the Trump administration and to move faster to remediate any safety issues; negotiations are progressing smoothly but no timetable has been set. Talks are being led by co-founder and chief computing officer Tom Brown and head of public policy Sarah Heck. ANTHROPIC and Commerce Department representatives did not respond to requests for comment.
