Iran's Persian Gulf Straits Administration said on social media on the 19th
that, under an Iran‑US memorandum of understanding and directives from relevant
authorities, vessels that submit applications within the prescribed timeframe
and comply with required precautions will be permitted to transit the Strait of
Hormuz.
