China has launched its first aquaculture-breeding-focused large AI model
platform, Blue Kun SmartSeed. The platform was developed jointly by Qingdao Blue
Seed Research Institute, the Key Laboratory of Marine Biological Genetics and
Breeding (Ocean University of China) and Ocean University of China's Sanya
Marine Research Institute, and represents progress in building specialized
scientific AI models and an intelligent breeding infrastructure for the Chinese
aquaculture sector.
