US President Trump said the New York Times was wrong to claim little changed
after nearly four months of war, asserting Iran’s military has been largely
destroyed — navy and air force gone, missile and drone launch platforms and
production nearly eliminated — and that two senior leaders are gone. He added
Iran’s inflation is about 250%, its economy has collapsed, soldiers are unpaid,
the Strait of Hormuz is open and oil is flowing, while US stocks and employment
are at record highs.
