On the 21st the Russian Defense Ministry said that over the previous 24 hours
Russian forces struck one Ukrainian military airport and targets including
energy and transport infrastructure and logistics hubs. It said Russian air
defences intercepted eight guided aerial bombs and hundreds of fixed‑wing UAVs,
and the Black Sea Fleet destroyed four Ukrainian unmanned boats. Ukraine's
General Staff said dozens of frontline engagements occurred by the afternoon of
the 21st, with the heaviest fighting around Huliaipole and Pokrovsk, and that
Ukrainian unmanned systems struck Russian radar stations, fuel depots and
military vehicles.
