Colombia's President Petro said on social media he cannot yet declare a winner
from the tightly contested second-round presidential vote on the 21st, that he
will abide by judicial rulings, and urge citizens to remain calm. Preliminary
results show independent candidate De La Espriella, aligned with the far-right
group Defenders of the Homeland, 49.3% and Historic Pact coalition candidate
Cepeda 49.0%.
