Bank of Communications and the Shanghai Gold Exchange signed a memorandum of
understanding in Shanghai to deepen cooperation on gold-market services and
product development, strengthen funds clearing and settlement capacity, and
improve delivery and storage management. The parties agreed to study an
exchange-counter linkage mechanism and to cautiously advance market innovation
and operational integration to support gold market stability, liquidity and
Shanghai's international financial center development.
