Documents obtained by Reuters show that the EU's diplomatic service has proposed a three-year military and civilian mission to advise and train the Lebanese army. The EU's potential mission in Lebanon will focus on strengthening land border forces, enhancing intelligence and surveillance capabilities, and reinforcing maritime security capabilities.
