The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) fell 33 points, or 1.2%, to 2,634 on Wednesday,
dragged by weaker Capesize and Ultramax freight. The Capesize Index (BCI)
dropped 96 points, or 2.4%, to 3,950, its lowest since June 18; Capesize daily
Earnings fell $870 to $32,322. The Panamax Index (BPI) rose 26 points, or 1.3%,
to 2,071, with Panamax daily earnings up $235 to $18,641. The Baltic
Supramax/Ultramax Index (BSI) declined 12 points, or 0.7%, to 1,693.
