EU member states have agreed to extend the tariff suspension in the long-running
Airbus-Boeing dispute, covering $4 billion of U.S. goods; no end date was set.
European Commission spokesman Olof Gill said Brussels is holding ongoing talks
with Washington to preserve stability and keep countermeasures suspended. The
Dispute over alleged illegal subsidies previously led both sides to impose
tariffs on about $11.5 billion of each other’s exports before a five-year truce.
