At the open, most-active domestic futures contracts were mixed. Low-sulfur fuel
oil (LU) rose over 3%; propylene, container freight to Europe, LPG and
polypropylene gained more than 2%; SC crude, Soybean No.1 and fuel oil climbed
over 1%. On the downside, lithium carbonate fell over 4%; 20# rubber dropped
more than 3%; rubber was down nearly 2%; iron ore and coke declined over 1%.
