At close Shanghai Composite fell 2.26%, Shenzhen Composite fell 3.44% and the ChiNext Index fell 4.07%. Glass-substrate names bucked the market, with Kaisheng Technology and others hitting daily limits; pork stocks were active, Shennong Group hit limit-up; commercial-space names rallied in the afternoon, China Satellite and others hit limits. Chip, lithography-machine and oil sectors showed activity; lithium-mining, innovative-drug, insurance, nonferrous-metal and securities stocks led declines. More than 4,600 stocks fell and total Turnover exceeded CNY 3.5 trillion.
