The world's first and largest single-turbine tension-leg floating wind platform,
"Haiyou Anlan" (16 MW), completed integrated assembly at Zhuhai Gaolan Port and
departed yesterday under escort by Zhuhai maritime authorities for the Lufeng
oilfield cluster waters off eastern Guangdong. The platform is over 307 m tall
and weighs nearly 8,000 tons; its departure marks China’s deepwater
floating-wind technology moving from demonstration toward scale and commercial
deployment.
