The A-share consumer sector continued its rebound in the afternoon, with several sub-sectors, including food and beverage, retail, and daily chemicals, showing strong performance. Dongpeng Beverage hit its daily limit in the afternoon, following earlier gains of Jiahe Food, Bairun Shares, Ningbo Zhongbai, Xiangyuan Cultural Tourism, and Zhongbai Group. Dengkang Dental, Kuaijishan, Ligao Food, and Shanghai Jahwa were among the top gainers.
