Changjiang Materials said it has completed a 10,000 tpa inorganic-phosphate
demonstration plant for ferrous castings at its Shiyan, Hubei
additive-manufacturing industrial park and has begun trial production. The
facility focuses on three core processes — inorganic core production, inorganic
mold systems and inorganic self-hardening sand — and integrates inorganic
materials R&D, smart equipment, spent-sand recycling and process training into a
closed-loop, full-process service. The company says the plant can provide
integrated casting order fulfillment and production-process validation services
to the wider foundry industry.
