Iran and Lebanon have agreed to establish a conflict-management working group, with US participation to oversee implementation of Lebanon-related clauses in the recently signed US‑Iran peace memorandum, Iran’s parliament speaker said after a call with Lebanon’s parliament speaker Berri. The speaker said Iran’s negotiating team in Switzerland repeatedly flagged breaches by other parties during US‑Iran talks. Foreign ministry spokesman Baghaei urged a prompt timetable for an unconditional Israeli withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territory and said full implementation of the memorandum’s Article 1 is a necessary precondition for a final settlement and regional stability.
