Iran resumed scheduled commercial flights between Tehran and Dubai on Monday,
the first since late‑February hostilities with the US and Israel, press outlets
reported. The restart follows a US‑Iran agreement to halt a series of attacks in
the Strait of Hormuz. Mehr news agency, citing the head of Imam Khomeini
International Airport, said preparations for the Tehran‑Dubai route are complete
and the first flight has departed. IRNA quoted a Civil Aviation Organization
spokesperson saying Iranian carriers will operate UAE services in the initial
phase, with Emirati carriers to commence in a second phase.
