Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB reported on the 29th that an increasing number of
vessels have been transiting the Strait of Hormuz via a route south of Larak
Island in the northern strait. The IRGC navy warned routes other than the
Iran-designated one carries security risks. The report gave no information on the
number of vessels or other details.
