At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts rose, with lithium carbonate up over 8%, eggs up over 3%, benzene and synthetic rubber up nearly 3%, and TSR20 rubber, tin, PVC, and styrene (EB) up nearly 2%. On the downside, platinum and rapeseed meal fell over 2%, aluminum fell nearly 2%, and soybean meal, nickel, caustic soda, alumina, lead, gold, European shipping contracts, and aluminum alloys fell over 1%.
