US Treasury Secretary Bessent urges gasoline retailers to lower pump prices to
coincides with the US Independence Day 250th anniversary and said the Trump
administration is closely monitoring pricing. He called on all gasoline
retailers—major oil-owned outlets, independents and convenience-store chains—to
show corporate responsibility during the milestone.
