July 1 — Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said at a regular
briefing that China has repeatedly set out its position on remarks from Paraguay
and urged the Paraguayan government and leaders to align with the tide of
history and public will, promptly stand on the right side of history, make
decisions in their country’s fundamental and long-term interests and avoid
further isolation.
