Norsk Hydro, a Norwegian aluminum and renewable energy company, reports that Slovakian aluminum producer Slovalco has reached an agreement with the Slovakian government to restart production, including a long-term electricity supply contract with a state-owned utility. The Slovalco aluminum joint venture will restart its 75,000-ton-per-year aluminum smelting capacity.
