For routes over 800 km the surcharge will be 100 yuan per passenger (down 50 yuan); for routes up to and including 800 km it will be 50 yuan (down 30 yuan). The airline noted the cuts follow consecutive increases in April and May and a smaller reduction on June 5 (down 20/10 yuan) and attributed the move to falling jet fuel prices.
