At the opening of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with SC crude oil falling over 4%, LPG and European container shipping contracts falling over 3%, methanol falling nearly 3%, fuel oil and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) falling over 2%, and polypropylene, asphalt, benzene, BR rubber, plastics, paraxylene, polypropylene, ethylene glycol, propylene, coke, polysilicon, and styrene falling over 1%. On the upside, platinum rose over 2%, iron ore and silver rose over 1%, and gold, soybean meal, and pulp rose nearly 1%.
