At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with SC crude oil falling over 5%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and paraxylene falling over 4%, PTA, fuel oil, and methanol falling over 3%, and asphalt and synthetic rubber falling nearly 3%. On the upside, platinum rose over 5%, palladium rose nearly 3%, silver rose over 2%, rapeseed meal, gold, lithium carbonate, and soybean meal rose over 1%, and rapeseed rose nearly 1%.
