On the 4th (local time), Iran's deputy foreign minister warned other countries
against military action in the Strait of Hormuz, saying the waterway is not a
stage for foreign powers to display force. He said security should be jointly
maintained by coastal states and that any party creating a crisis would bear the
consequences of its actions.
