A wildfire in Trévillach, Pyrénées-Orientales continued to spread on July 5,
with burned area reaching about 1,500 hectares. Authorities said firefighting is
difficult and have deployed roughly 700 firefighters, 200 fire engines and nine
firefighting aircraft. About 80 residents were evacuated and residents in
several villages were ordered to shelter indoors.
