The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and high-level global AI
governance meeting will be held in Shanghai July 17–20. Organizers said at a
July 7 press briefing that pre-conference activities have driven deployment of
57 core industry scenarios and produced 16.2 bln yuan of intended cooperation. A
capital-matching zone has linked more than 10 investment firms and roughly 200
professional investors.
